How COVID-19 restrictions are affecting our delivery services

Please be advised that we are currently experiencing some delivery service impacts to our business related to COVID-19.

Our overseas supplier, Pleaser USA are being affected by various issues that are resulting in lengthy delays: labor shortage, influx of containers from the ports, increased volume of orders, etc. Shoe Me has been a stockist of Pleaser for 10 years and this is unlike anything we have ever seen.

We understand this is frustrating to have such a huge delay this holiday season and we are doing everything we can to post out your orders as soon as stock arrives. At the moment please you allow 10-14 days for your local Aus Post tracking to be sent to you.

We have two Australian stores with over 3000 items in-stock, please get in touch if you require something urgently and we can try and source an item to suit from our available stock on hand.

The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a major surge in parcel deliveries, as well as causing disruptions to delivery operations.

Many of our mail and parcel processing facilities have been affected by temporary closures.
On any given day a significant number of our people are in precautionary self-isolation in accordance with state regulations.
There are fewer flights available to transport parcels. Many domestic and international routes are currently suspended, and remaining routes have much lower frequencies.

Domestic deliveries
Major disruptions are still being experienced in Victoria. These disruptions may delay:

  • deliveries between locations within Victoria
  • deliveries between Victoria and other states and territories
  • Wine deliveries are particularly affected as they need to be sorted manually.

Disruptions have eased in other states and territories, but delays may still be experienced and circumstances can change quickly.

Please see our domestic updates for the latest issues affecting deliveries within Australia.
